The Eugenics Anthology
BY: A.E. Samaan
What started as one book, developed into a book series once it became clear that there was enough content in the archives yet to be documented by Holocaust historians. One book turned into two, and two quickly revealed themselves to be the foundations of an entire series. EUGENICS ANTHOLOGY book series is based on original archival research. It is the culmination of decades of scouring the archives that hold the personal correspondence of the leading players in the International eugenics movement that culminated in The Holocaust. We have hunted down forgotten books, journals, and publications from the era. The result is unusual insight into the minds of the doctors, lawyers, scientists, and jurists that made the “scientific racism” movement possible.
Part of the decision to create the series was formalizing it into a coherent project. The first two books in the series were released on November 9th, 2020 in remembrance of the Kristallnacht events of The Holocaust.
THE EUGENICS ANTHOLOGY is a book series covering the emergence and proliferation of the International eugenics movement from its early stages in the Scientific Revolution to its zenith in the National Socialist Era, onto its reemergence in the 21st Century. Seven books are planned for the series. The first two books in the series are set to be released on November 9th, 2020 in remembrance of the Kristallnacht events of The Holocaust.
Everything in Holocaust history began to crumble with the Berlin Wall. The world was given access to what amounted to more than half the documentary evidence and historical sites. The WWII generation in Germany began to die away, and sources and evidence once closely guarded became available. As such, our understanding of The Holocaust is evolving and maturing. This book series addresses the vast gaps in now outdated Holocaust history.
From a "Race of Masters" to a "Master Race": 1948-1848
The first book in the series is “From a ‘Race of Masters’ to a ‘Master Race’: 1948 to 1848” by A.E. Samaan. This book traces the origins of the Nazi eugenics state, from its beginnings in British and American Academia, uncovering previously unpublished manuscripts, professional correspondence, and conveniently forgotten publications.(Buy on Amazon) (Buy on Google Play)
H.H. LAUGHLIN: American Scientist. American Progressive. Nazi Collaborator
The second book in the series is “H.H. Laughlin: American Scientist. American Progressive. Nazi Collaborator” by A.E. Samaan, with a Foreword by Professor Garland E. Allen. Harry H. Laughlin helped the Nazis create their racial state. Laughlin wrote the legislation that kept European Jews from reaching the safety of U.S. shores. The Nazis rewarded him with an Honorary Degree to Heidelberg University. No history of The Holocaust is complete, or even coherent, without accounting for H.H. Laughlin. Yet, this is the first and only book to ever be written about him. (Buy on Amazon) (Buy on Google Play)
FUTURE VOLUMES:
Future books in the series will follow the lead of “H.H. Laughlin” and focus on personages that are critical to Holocaust history, but which, inexplicably, they have not been documented by historians.
